The principals of ICA have a combined 40 years of experience having held executive roles in both major wirehouse and independent RIA businesses. They have led high-performance sales teams; the development of enterprise level trading and performance systems; as well as retirement focused business development initiative.
Felix Rivera
Felix is the founder of Independent Channel Advisors, LLC. He began his career in 1988 at Shearson Lehman Brothers and created Independent Channel Advisors, LLC in 2011. He spent 16 years with Smith Barney and its predecessor firms in a variety of different roles within Operations, Marketing & Sales and The Consulting Group.
Prior to forming ICA Felix was the Chief Operating Officer for Biondo Investment Advisors, LLC. His responsibilities included management of the day-to-day operations, compliance, finance, administration and trading. While at Biondo Investment Advisors, LLC Felix launched two mutual funds and sat as a Trustee Board Member of the Ralph Parks Cyclical Equity Fund.
Felix has a long list of accomplishments which include, launching the Private Client Monitor which provided performance reporting for all retails accounts 5.5 million at Smith Barney. As Chief Technology Officer for the Portfolio Management Group lead a team responsible for $30B in assets under management for the PCG from 2002 to 2004.
Arin Epstein
Arin Epstein is a managing partner at ICA, responsible for marketing and business development. Over the past 15 years, Arin has earned a reputation for delivering on strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve Advisor productivity.
Prior to joining ICA Arin was responsible for client development and segment marketing at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. His team developed highly successful programs to support Financial Advisors' in growing their share of the retirement and privately held business owner markets. As Managing Director for technology strategy at Citi Smith Barney Arin lead the team responsible for the industry leading advisor desktop; including CRM, Client Performance Reporting, Portfolio Monitoring, Proposals, and the award winning client website SB.com
Arin lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and two daughters. He has earned degrees in Physics from Reed College and Chemical Engineering from Columbia University.
